Drake: So Far Gone
I hadn’t really been paying attention to Drake and had assumed he was just an R&B singer who did hooks on pop songs. In fact, he is fantastic lyricist on this mixtape. His Wikipedia article also say he’s “monoymous,” which sounds like an R&B song title but is actually the word for someone who goes by a single name.
Christmas Gift Hints
I like home made gifts and I’m fascinated by Karl Lagerfeld, so I loved getting this sketch from my girlfriend.
Fellow Karl Lagerfeld devotees may recognize this sketch from a photo in the fantastic 2007 New Yorker profile, which I linked to in an earlier post.
This t-shirt was another recent Karl Lagerfeld gift that I received. I love the color-by-numbers vibe.
