I loved the Pipilotti Rist installation at the MoMa.
Projectors on three giant walls display videos of flowers, hogs, people skipping through water, naked women floating in water, and a few other things. In the center of the room is a giant cushion ring. It was about seven foot thick and thirty feet in diameter. This was the place to be, most people were lying down on it. In the center of the cushion ring was carpeted pit where you could also lie down and watch the video screens. The ambient soundtrack made for a complete sensory experience that was relaxing and really stimulating at the same time.
We chilled out on the couch cushion for 20 minutes and watched the whole loop. The kids at the installation were going wild. The pillow fights were non-stop. One rapscallion got a running start, jumped off the cushion ring, and flew over a relaxing couple. This was the most fun, social experience I ever had at the MoMa.
